What does the league provide the players with? Each player is given a team jersey, soccer shorts and socks. Parents/guardians need to provide soccer cleats and shin guards.

How long does the season run? The season begins the first Saturday after school starts in September and runs through the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

How old does my child need to be to play? Children should be Kindgergarden age and can play in the league through 8th grade.

How can I help? HBYS is always looking for volunteers to coach, prepare the playing fields, work the concession stand, etc. Please email us at info@hbyouthsoccer.org, or go to our volunteer registration page.

When are games played? All games are played on Saturday mornings between 9:00 and 1:00. An occasional Sunday make-up game will take place if a scheduled game is cancelled. Complete schedules will be provided by mid-August.

Are there scheduled practices? Practice is up to each individual coach. For the most part, coaches in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions schedule practices weeknights from mid-August through September either one or two nights per week. The Peewee division typically splits their Saturday morning timeslots into practice then game.

Are there travel games? For the Intermediate and Senior divisions, we have partnered with Bethlehem Township to play some games. A few games will be played in Bethlehem at Heritage field, off Route 173.
